(t+7)^2 . t+5 over (t+5)^2 . t-1

I came up with

 

(t-1) (t+5) 

 

is this correct or do I have to subtract?

What you did is not correct,

 

Is it ( 7 + t)² (t+5) / ( t + 5 )² ( t -1 )

 

      ( t + 7 )² / t² + 4t -5

 

           ( t+ 7 ) ²/ ( t+5)(t - 1 ):

 

  May be it was:

   

  ( t + 7) ( t + 5 )² / ( t +5 )( t -1 )= 

   

   ( t +7 ) ( t +5 ) / ( t -1 )
