The binomial distribution talks about an event happening n times with probability of success (in this case getting heads) being p. You want to find the probability of getting X successes. In this case, p=1/2 (ideally unbiased coin), n=12, and X=6. The catch here is that most tables don't go up to n=12. But if yours does, match up n=12 on the left, p=.5 on top, and choose the row with X=6. Hope that helps!
