there are many ways to use the distributive property with theses numbers
the easiest way to get the answer by using the distributive property is probably by writing the following:
25*(30+2)=25*30+25*2=750+50=800
25 *30 can be done using mental math because 3*25=75 and then add on a zero-750
25*2 can be done using mental math-2 times 25 is 50 !!- now add 750+50 to get 800
you could have written 32*(10+15)= ? but 32*15 is a little harder to do using mental math
you rewrite one of the numbers, or you could rewrite both if you like...
(30+2)*(20+5) for example
(30+2)*(20+5)=20*(30+2)+5*(30+2)=600+40+150+10=800 again
