g(x)=7/(4-7x)
In math, division by zero is undefined. So any value of x that makes the denominator of g(X) equal to zero will make g(x) undefined. All such values of x are excluded from the domain of g(x).
4 - 7x = 0
4 = 7x
4/7 = x
The domain of g(x), then, is all x except x = 4/7. In interval notation:
(-∞.4/7)U(4/7,∞)
