Studying online textbook- loss of focus HELP

I need to study better, but I can never stay focused, My textbook is online and I'm in a class for Precalc/Algebra in College, how can i study better? always lose focus studying from the online book..

One way to maintain focus is to write notes as you read and work practice problems. Math is a hands subject and practicing problems is a key element to learning it. Taking breaks is crucial also. Read and take notes for a while than take a break for about 10 minutes to relax your eyes and get back to reading/taking notes.
