Well, you don't really "find" the distributive property, though you can certainly apply it. To do so, you would distribute the number outside of the parenthesis to each of the numbers inside of the parenthesis.
2a + 3(2+a) The distribute property would be applied to 3(2+a)
3 * 2 = 6
3 * a = 3a
3(2+a) = 6 + 3a Now, you will put it back into the original equation.
2a + 6 + 3a Combine for a more concise answer.
5a + 6 Done!
You would repeat the same process for 2(x-y)+3x ;; the distributive property would be applied to 2(x-y)
