Okay I recommend making small t-chart or bubble chart of some kind. Just some kind of organizer to get some ideas down. On the chart, I'd put on one side qualities a "normal" dad should have and Jonas's dad is definitely the opposite - but also provide text evidence or it. I mean, what kind of dad thinks it's okay to kill infants like it's killing a bug? Then do the same for the other characters. This sounds like it may lends itself to a compare/contrast type essay. I always recommend making the notes in an organizer of some kind to keep you on track.
