Distance from the point (-2,4) to the point (3,-5)

Show and tell how could you find the distance from the point (-2,4) to the point (3,-5)?
Is there more than one way to find the distance between the two points?
What mathematical theorems were used to figure ou the problem?

I see that you changed the points in the written problem from (12,4), (3,-5) to (-2,4), (3,5)

Work the problem the same way:
D = √(3-(-2))2+(5-4)2) = √(3+4+1) = √8 = √22(2) = 2√2
