1\10 = P\5? It's an equation so it's 1 over 10 and P over 5 . I know i should only ask questions but i need help.

You simply need to isolate the variable - get P on a side by itself.  If you multiply both sides of the equation by 5 you will be left with:

 

P = 5(1/10)

P = 5/10

P = 1/2
