I am a retired U.S. Air Force officer who has started a second career as a high school teacher. I have taught AP Physics C, AP Physics 1, Physics, Physical Science, Geometry and Algebra in the classroom, and I previously worked for a semester as a school-sponsored math and science tutor. He was able to teach me in the same style I'm currently learning from my high school teacher but he more fully explained the problems and how to work through and obtain the answers. My daughter has a physics teacher who is nice and knows the subject well ... he just relies on every answer to a question being "read the text book". She was struggling and getting frustrated which was concerning as we're only about 2 months into the school year. Michael took the time to teach, help her understand the answers to her questions and now has her wanting to learn more.
