should words meanings be exists in science?

i am a science teacher in primary school 

please let me know with your knowledge , Either in note book of students words meanings should be exists or not 

if yes why and obviously if not then why not

In order for students to understand the various concepts in this subject, they need to know what the words mean.  Words such as condensation, solids, DNA, and photosynthesis. Without knowing what they mean, it will be impossible to explain such concepts.

 

 

For example, if you ask your students to relate acceleration and gravity, they can't because they don't know the definition of those words.

Yes students in elementary should have a word list and a notebook for science. Word association works in science just like other subjects. We want more students to study science so we must build that bridge to science.

Students at all levels should practice documentation as an important Science school. This includes providing vocabulary so the students have the words needed to describe their observations and time to practice recording observations and engaging with their written work.
