You need to find the greatest common factor (or GCF) of the polynomial and then factor it out. This is done by looking at each term and finding what common numbers and variables can be divided out of each of them. We see that no common numbers divide into both 7 and 4 but we can see that each term has at least one X in it so X is the GCF. Then we factor out that GCF which looks like this x(7x-4). This is factored completely.
