We have the difference of twice a number (2x) and 10... 2x-10 ... is at least 27
2x-10≥27 will be our inequality. At least means that it can be 27 or larger.
2x-10≥27
Add 10 to both sides
2x ≥ 37
Divide both sides by 2
x ≥ 37/2
or
x ≥ 18 1/2
If we put in 37/2 for x in our inequality we get 27≥27 any larger number for x
will give us a larger outcome so this is correct
