-x-2y=-10 how do you graphy this linear equation?

i dont know how to graph this, someone please help me

Let's rearrange it to -2y = x - 10, so y = -1/2 x + 5

 

So if x = 0, then y =5, so the y intercept is at (0,5)

The slope is -1/2, so come down 1 from (0,5) and go to the right 2, so that point would be (2,4), right?

 

Join those 2 points up, extend the line, and BINGO! there's your graph.
