I cant figure this out

Question

Rodney, a hardware engineer, wants to install a componet that is 38.2mm in length into his laptop, the length of the installation space provided in his laptop is 4.8cm. calculate the ratio of the length of the componet to the installation spcae , in it's lowest terms

Note:  Be careful of the units!

 

The ratio is 38.2 mm / 4.8 cm  = 38.2 mm / 48.0 mm = 191 / 240

4.8 cm = 48mm, so ratio = 38.2 : 48 = 382 : 480 = 191: 240
