As written, I interpret the equation to be 2/(7x²) + 9/(7x) = 0

To solve this, first note that x cannot be equal to 0.  Multiply each term by 7x² to get 2 + 9x = 0.  This leads to the answer x = -2/9

 

If equation was meant to be (2/7)x² + (9/7)x = 0, then this would simplify to 2x² + 9x = 0.  Factoring the expression on the left leads to x(2x +9) = 0, which has solutions of 0 and -9/2
