Hi Aishell, what you typed is not equation, it's inequality.

Solving inequality is very like solving equation. The only difference: if divide or multiply both sides of inequality by negative number, we have to change sign of inequality to opposite.

         + 6     + 6

   8k  >  24
 ÷ 8    ÷ 8

    k > 3  ,  or all numbers out of interval (3, + ∞)
