Pizza Question

Pizza village uses the equation y=1.10x + 9 to calculate the cost of a cheese pizza with x additional toppings. The table below shows the cost of cheese pizza from Mama Mia's based on the number of additional toppings. Who charges more per topping and how much more?

Number of Toppings                       Total Cost
              3                                      $11.75
              5                                      $14.25
              8                                      $18.00

According to the chart, Mama Mia's charges  y = 1.25x + 8

The question asks, "Who charges more per topping and how much more?"  Answer:  Mama Mia's charges $0.15 more per topping than Pizza Village.

However, if you buy no toppings, Pizza Village sells a cheese pizza for $9 and Mama Mia's sells one for $8.

Now, just for fun (and for wonderful education), with how many toppings would the price be equal?  That is,
            y = 1,10x + 9  =  1.25x + 8      (this is called the "break even" point)

"Who charges more per topping and how much more?"

My error was not stating Mama Mia charges $0.15 more per topping.
