Hi Josh..Lets give this a try....
X^2-4 / X^2+X-6
______ _________
X^2-4X X^+X-20
= (X+2) (X-2) / (X-3) (X+2)
__________ _________
X(X-4) (X+3) (X-2)
= (X+2) (X+5)
___________
X(X+3)
1. Turn the 2nd fraction (divisor) upside down
2. Change the divide sign to multiply sign and multiply the fractions.
Hope this was clear....
