I'm stuck and unaware how to graph these absolute values.
| = Absolute values
Graph the following ( You can just give coordinates)
y= | -2(x-1)2+5 |
and...
y = | 2(x-3)(x+1) |

For the first one:
Downward facing parabola, vertex (1, 5), y-intercept (0, 3), roots (1±√(5/2), 0).
For x < 1 - √(5/2) graph is reflected over the x-axis. Same for the other root.
Do the same process for the second equation.
