I'm assuming that it's 80/(80-n) and not (80/80)-n in the formula.
Since n is the score and t is the time in the formula:
t=10ln (80/(80-n))
We put n = 50 and solve for t to find out how many weeks the dog takes to score 50
t=10ln (80/(80-50))
t=10ln (80/30)
t=10ln (8/3)
Now, we use a scientific calculator to find out the value of ln(8/3)
t = 10*0.981
t = 9.81 weeks
Since the question does not ask for breaking the time down to the nearest weeks or days, I'm leaving the answer in decimals.
