First let's see how many complete revolutions the tire will make in 1 min
Since there are 60 seconds in a minute then
how many 4 second intervals do we get in 60 secs?
4x = 60
x = 15
The tire makes 15 revolutions in a minute
Now we need to know how much distance each revolution will cover so we need the
circumference of the tire
C = 2πr = 2π(30cm) = 60π cm per revolution
Since we make 15 revolutions we have the total distance of
15(60π cm) = 900π cm
Using 3.14 for pi we have 900(3.14) = 2826 cm travelled
