How many lots (based on area) of 015' x 205' can be made from the following parcel of land allowing for a 20 foot easement around the perimeter of the land

 

Land 1,000 feet long by 1,500 feet wide.

So each lot is 15 (provided 015 is a typo and does not mean 105) x 205 or 3,705 sqft each

When you need to have a 20 foot easement around the entire perimeter, you need to remove 20 feet on the left and 20 feet on the right, as well as 20 feet on the top and 20 feet on the bottom.

So the land is 1,000 feet times 1,500 feet.

1,000-20-20=960

1,500-20-20=1,460

1,460 x 960 = 1,401,600 available square feet

Divide 1,401,600 (total available sqft) by 3,705 (size of each lot) and you will have 455.80 or 455 lots. The .80 is not enough to cover an extra lot of that size.
