Think of the generic straight line equation: y = mx + b.
In this case b = 0 (the y intercept). m, the slope, equals -1.
So this is just a straight line, passing through x=0,y=0 and sloping from lower right to upper left on
an x-y graph. The slope is 45 degrees upward to the left on the graph.
Another method: make a table of x and y and plot it on a graph.
