Hello, My name is Rakhi, I am a first Nursing student at Chamberlain. I guided my way through, and I want to help others who are going into similar paths. I know how hard it is to start fresh in a new environment, and I hope to give you the tools to start.

As the start of nursing school approaches, the key to stay on top of everything is ORGANIZATION. There will be a lot of information given to you during the first days and weeks of school, beginning with orientation. You will do yourself a service to have one centralized calendar and plot all dates from your syllabi onto that calendar. There's nothing worse than cramming for an assignment that should've taken all semester because you forgot to plot it out on your calendar. Other than that, ask questions when you have them, and study hard your areas of weakness. Good luck to all the new nursing students out there! You got this!

You will be given a lot of information at the beginning of the semester. Take your syllabi from your different courses and organize all of your assignments in one place, either a day planner or an app like MyHomeworkApp.

Try to have all of your books before classes start. This will help you stay on schedule.

Form a study group before things get complicated.
