Before you register with Wyzant, I recommend thinking about why and what specific subjects you are really interested in instructing. Since this is an online platform connecting you to students, you also want to provide honest answers and your honest time commitments. Consider practicing using the Wyzant Study Room before your first lesson...and offering your (new student) a discounted fee 1st Lesson with you. Best luck,

To become a tutor on Wyzant, start by visiting their website and clicking the “Tutor Sign Up” link. Fill out your personal details, upload a professional photo, and write a short bio explaining your teaching style and qualifications. Wyzant staff will review and approve your bio, which can take several days. You’ll also need approval to teach your chosen subject, either through a test or by providing your qualifications. Once approved, update your availability and profile settings, then you can start applying to jobs on the job board. Responding quickly to messages and bookings helps attract more students.
