Tip - If an AC signal (sine wave or a cosine wave voltage) is applied to a capacitor or an Inductor then the delivered power (as a function of time, t) is a sine wave with double the frequency of the AC signal. The average power delivered (averaged over the period T of sine/cosine AC signal) is zero.
