The personal values of a culture, subgroup, traditional rituals shape the viewpoints and perspectives of the group. By understanding what motivational targets to activate, the rhetor or writer must focus on the triggers that exist. Avoid taboos, learn cultural faux pas or the "foot in the mouth" insensitivity, racist meme, or unkind actions, and do not form stereotypes.
