3x3/10x3; Multiply both top numbers to get 9, three times three equals nine. Place 9 on top. Ten times three equals thirty. Place 30 on the bottom. The answer is 9/30. However, the answer needs to be simplified. Reduce the fraction to lowest terms. The number 3 is the greatest common factor, therefore, divide the top number and the bottom number by three, 9/3 equals 3, put three on the top. And, 30/3 equals 10, place ten on the bottom. 3/10 is the answer.
