Do you count the last day or not in these situations?

Question

If I take a shower on Friday and then my next shower is on Tuesday does that mean I went 3 or 4 days without showering? Do you count the last day as another day? If I win a tournament Monday and then don’t win another until Thursday would that be 2 or 3 days without winning. If I win a tournament the next day after winning a tournament the day before does that mean I went 0 or 1 day without winning?

Hi Jim,

In the first scenario: it means you went three (3) days without showering since you did not take a shower on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

In the second scenario: it means that you went two (2) days without winning since you did not win a tournament on Tuesday or Wednesday.

In the third scenario: you went zero (0) days without winning a tournament since there were no days in between the first day you won a tournament and the next/second consecutive day you won a tournament.
