9 x 15 can be simplified to
9 x (10 + 5) Then you can distribute to get.
(9 x 10) + (9 x 5) This makes the problem easier to solve.

Hi Gregory,
To break this multiplication math exercise down using the Distributive Property, you can do it as follows:
3 (3x5) = (3x3) (3x5)
3x3 = 9
3x5 = 15
9x15 = 135

The distributive property is for multiplication over addition/subtraction. Multiplication is not distributive over multiplication. 3(3x5) = 45!12/14/22

Nothing there to distribute. Do you want to use that product to demonstrate distribution?12/14/22
