Helping people publish is one my most common request. I'm helping support several publishing students on Wyzant now. One is going straight to print with an art book, two of them run local newspapers, and I just helped a student through to a release on Amazon Kindle Direct. KDP is a common solution I recommend for writers who don't know where to start because it cant cost nearly nothing to publish your first book and you can get reviews, pre-sales, e-pub and print versions of your book. Adobe InDesign is my specialty, but I also help with author portraits and cover art.
