In an athletics event, a team earned 1 more gold medal than silver. The number of silver medals that the team earned was the same as the number of its bronze medals. The team earned a total of 22 medals. How many of each kind of medal did the team earn? The team earned gold, silver, and bronze medals.

S= B

G+S+B = 22

1+S+ S +S = 22

3S= 21

S=21/3 = 7 Silver and 7 Bronze

G = 1+7 = 8 Gold
