So we have 4ft of red ribbon, and 5ft of green ribbon and they want to know how many bows that are 2/3 length we can get out of each ribbon
For the 4ft of red ribbon it is 4 divided 2/3 remember that when we divide fractions we have to flip the numerator and the denominator and multiply.
So now it is 4 X 3/2 = 12/2 or 6 red ribbon
With the green same thing so it will be 5ft divided by 2/3 flip the numerator and the denominator and multiply
So now it is 5 X 3/2 = 15/2 or 7.5 green ribbon
I hope that helps :)
