You're dividing by a fraction. You can use the K-C-F approach: Keep the 3, change the division into multiplication, and flip the 1/4 fraction to 4/1
You'll get this: 3 ÷ (1/4) = 3 * (4/1) = 12/1 = 12
3 divided by 1/4 is equal to 12.
