The length of a rectangle is 4 inches more than 4 times the width. The perimeter is 98 inches

2L+2W = 98

2(L+W) = 98

L+W = 98/2 = 49

4+4W +W = 49

5W = 49-4 = 45

W = 45/5 = 9 inches wide

L= 4+4W = 4+36 = 40 inches long

Perimeter = 2L+2W = 2(40) + 2(9) = 80 + 18 = 98 inches
