Hello Ella,
You will need 4 tiles across for every 1 foot of wall. Since you have 4 feet of wall, that is 4 X 4 = 16 tiles across to cover the length of the wall.
Now I have a question back for you, to tease your brain a bit...
What if it was not just a wall? What if it was a 4 foot by 4 foot ROOM, that you needed to fully tile- for instance if you did home construction.
How many tiles do you think you would need then?
