You would divide 3/4 by 1/8: (3/4)/(1/8) = (3/4) * (8/1)

[when you divide by a fraction, it means you multiply by the reciprocal of that fraction]

so (3/4) * (8/1) = 24/4 = 6

Sean cut 6 pieces.
