but the two may be contradictory
with no solution.
try to solve or B with each given secant and cosecant. If they're differenct, you have a hay wire problem

While you could come up with a formula using ratios (sec/csc = tan), this would not be correct with this problem, because at most one of the absolute value of csc and sec can be greater than √2 (we can have 0 if the absolute value of each is √2), and the absolute value of both of these values is greater than √2.
