Solve the system of equations by substitution. x=y+8 and 4x+2y=2 using brief step by step process of how to solve the problems using the substitution method

Hi I need a well explained brief explanation to each step so I can learn from my mistake apparently I got this wrong and would like for someone to walk me through with brief steps so i can better understand

I just realized that it was supposed to be -5 and not positive 5. So it's, (3, -5)
