6 + .9x = 8 + .8x
.1x = 2
x = 2/.1 = 20
x = 20 pounds of peanuts mixed with 10 pounds of walnuts to get 30 pounds of a mixture
.9 is within .1 of .8
.6 is within .2 of .8'\; .2/.1 = 2
you need twice as much of .9 to get .8. 20/10 = 2
