To find the best deal, you want to find what is called the unit price. Unit price in this case would be the price per ounce. So what you want to do for each brand is divide the total cost by the number of ounces. This will give you the cost per ounce.
For example, divide 4.94 by 26 to give you the cost of brand A. In this case the answer would be .19. So brand A costs 19 cents per ounce. Do this for each brand and figure out which one is the lowest cost per ounce.

Hi Ty,
If you and the given math exercise are asking which price is the best deal, then the answer would be Brand A and Brand D. Both of these brand prices, based on the information provided above, amount to $0.19/oz after you divide their respective price by their respective ounce value as shown. When broken down in further mathematical detail:
Brand A: $4.94/26 = $0.19/oz.
Brand B: $8.64/36 = $0.24/oz.
Brand C: $6.44/28 = $0.23/oz.
Brand D: $6.08/32 = $0.19/oz.
