(2L-4)L = 143

2L^2 -4L -143 = 0

solve by factoring or the quadratic formula

L = 4/4 +or- (1/4)sqr(16+8(143)) = 1 +/- .25sqr(1160)

w = 2L -4 = -2 +.5sqr1160

diagonal = square root of (L^2 +w^2)
