In summer it's warmer with higher temperatures.
It often gets so hot, you have to stay more rational. Irrational in major heat can get you killed, especially if you're an immigrant crossing the southern border in the desert where many have died of heat exhaustion and dehydration, or Cuban exiles drowning in the Atlantic ocean in leaky boats or eaten by sharks.
Plus temperatures are reported in less precise numbers, more rounded off, so the official results are more rational, never irrational. even if less accurate.
there must be some relation between the mathematical term "rational" and the more psychological mental state of being "rational"? maybe related to summer seasons? or global warming?
