Describe the effect of each of the parameters A, B, C, and D in the most general sinusoidal equation.

A will scale the sinusoidal function in the vertical axis.
B will scale the sinusoidal function in the horizontal axis.
C will translate the sinusoidal function along the horizontal axis.
D will translate the sinusoidal function along the vertical axis.

This is a very well-known feature of sinusoidal equations. These effects are listed in pretty much every textbook with graphing of trigonometric functions. You should be able to find it in your textbook in the chapter you are currently working on. If you can't find it in there or on the internet, you can enter a dummy function into desmos and play around with the values to figure out what each parameter does - in fact, this is probably the more effective way of learning than someone just telling you on this platform.07/20/21
