slope = m = 6/-4 = -3/2
y-y1 = m(x-x1) is the equation in slope point form with the point = (x1,y1) = (-1,2)
y-2 = -3(x+1)/2 is the equation in point slope form
which is the same as
2y-4 =-3x+3
or
3x+2y = 1
y=mx +b is in slope intercept form where b is the y intercept or the point (0,b)
2=-3(-1)/2 + b
b =2-3/2 = 1/2
y=-3x/2 +1/2 or
2y=-3x +1 or
3x+2y = 1
