Perimeter = P = 2(L+W) = 2(x-1/2 + 4/x+1) = 2(x+4/x + 1/2)= 2x +8/x + 1
when x=5
L=5-1/2 = 4 1/2 = 4.5
W=(4/x) +1 = 4/5 +1 = 1.8
4.5 - 1.8 = 2.7 meters longer than wide
