The number of houses along Second Street was 9 less than the number of houses on Third street, and the number of houses on Main Street was 3 times the number of houses on third street. If Darrel distributed 101 copies in all, how many houses were alone Third street

3T + T-9 + T = 101

5T = 101+9

T = 110/5 = 22 on third street

M= 3(22) = 66 on Main Street
