Since f(0) = 8 and if f is an exponential function, then f(x) = 8(b^x)

Since f(1) = 16, 8(b¹) = 16. So, b = 2

f(x) = 8(2^x)

But then, f(2) = 8(2²) = 32 ≠ 27

So, f is not an exponential function of the form f(x) = a(b^x).
