widest is the equation with the smallest absolute value of the squared term
in the limit y= 0x^2 + b = b, just a flat line, a degenerate form of "widest"
narrowest is the equation with the largest absolute value of the squared term
in the limit y= infinity(x) + b = infinity, no y intercept, just a vertical line
So, for 7, l-1l<l-3l<l-5l if you look at the absolute values,
for 8 l-2l<l4l<l-6l
for 9 l1/3l<l1l<l2l
for 10 l16l<l1/4l<l1/2l
11 an upward opening parabola with vertex (0,1)
12 an upward opening parabola with vertex (0,-2)
13 another upward, a little narrower vertex (0,1)
14 and 15 downward opening parabolas
16 another upward opening parabola
in each graph, the y coordinate of the vertex is the y intercept
